Karlie has been practicing event photography in the New York City area for nine years. She holds a BFA in Art & Design concentrating in Photography from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
Some of her clients include, Heineken, Guerlain Paris, Spindrift, Dos Equis, Samsung, DE-NADA Tequila, Go-Puff, Grey Goose, Mujen, Olay, Maybeline, Essie, Amika and more.

Fact 1 | At 17, I submitted my photography portfolio to Cal Poly SLO in California and was one of only 12 freshman admitted to their highly competitive program.
Fact 2 | I moved to NYC at 23 years old into a bedroom so small that I could nearly touch either side of the walls when standing in it! I worked at a cupcake shop while trying to build my business.
Fact 3 | I take inspiration from the methods used in street photography and never like people to be very aware of my camera when I am shooting events.
